Fredericksburg Artists' School Because of the climate, setting and surroundings, plein air painting opportunities are found in abundance within minutes of town. The classes are established for all levels of painters.
Fredericksburg Artists' School is committed to providing a quality teaching experience by having nationally, and in some cases internationally, known professional artists teach.
Students come from all over the US, and international students join
our classes from Mexico, Canada, Germany, South Africa and other
countries.

Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis, with
the exception of juried classes. Space in the workshop will be
held upon receipt of the proper deposits.
Workshop enrollment is limited. Early registration is
encouraged, as many workshops fill quickly. A waiting list is
established if a workshop is filled. Workshops without sufficient
enrollment may have to be cancelled.
Costs: Tuition for each workshop
is noted in the workshop description. A non-refundable deposit of
$200 per workshop must be submitted at the time of registration.
Registration will be guaranteed when the proper deposits have been
received.
The balance of the tuition is due no later than forty-five days
prior to the start of the workshop. If the balance has not been
received by then, the student's credit card will be charged for the
remaining balance.
Transfer, Cancellation & Refund Policies:
Prior to 45 days before the start of the workshop, a $50 fee will be
retained for each transfer. For transfers without 45 days notice,
tuition is nonrefundable. Nor will returns be given for no shows
or withdrawals after a workshop has begun.
Students will receive a full tuition refund in the event that
Fredericksburg Artists School cancels their workshop. We strongly
urge all student to buy refundable airline tickets in case of workshop
cancellations or other unforeseen changes.
These policies will be strictly
enforced. Please no exceptions. Call the School
prior to registering if you have any questions regarding transfer or
cancellation policies.
